Your card payment information is protected at all times:

- While in our service: processing is carried out through a payment gateway that complies with PCI-DSS security standards and AES-256 encryption.
- At our physical location: El Anillo Rent Car does not store its customers' full card numbers.
The encryption of transactions provides reliable protection against unauthorized access and is the safest way to make purchases over the Internet.
03 Email Is Not a Secure Medium
For your security, we never request, and you should never send, card numbers or other sensitive information by email, WhatsApp, or messaging. Email is not a secure communication channel. Any payment is made exclusively through our encrypted gateway or a secure payment link generated for that purpose.
04 Cardholder Authentication (3D Secure)
To protect our customers against fraud and unauthorized charges, our transactions feature cardholder authentication through the "Verified by Visa", "Mastercard ID Check", and American Express "SafeKey" programs.

These programs provide an authentication method that ensures the purchase is being made by the legitimate owner of the card.
How it works
When a cardholder processes their payment, if their card is enrolled in the program, they will be directed to their issuing bank's page, where they must authenticate according to the method defined by that bank. Once authenticated, the transaction is completed as usual.

Is it safe to pay online with El Anillo Rent Car?
Yes. All payments are processed in an encrypted environment through a gateway that complies with international card industry security standards.
Does El Anillo Rent Car keep my card details?
We do not store your full card numbers. If you authorize saving your payment method for future rentals, it is kept tokenized and securely by the gateway, not by us.
What should I do if I receive a suspicious email requesting card details?
Do not reply or provide information. El Anillo Rent Car never requests card details by email or messaging. Report it by writing to us at elanillorentcar@gmail.com.
